I seem to be having a smiliar issue however it seems that ly will scale to the smaller of my two monitors. When running only a 1440p screen scaling works as intended however when both a 1080p and 1440p screen are plugged in the scaling for the 1440p seems to be carried from the 1080p monitor.
Note that unplugging a monitor only "fixes" this if the computer is restarted as opposed to simply closing the desktop session.

Do you happen to have two monitors? Or are these separate issues with similar symptoms?
