Hi, thank you for sharing this great project!!

I have a question about the below snippet. What is the purpose of these lines?

Lines 175 to 176 in 6ffeb66

    
           _patch_lengths[0] -= 1 
        
           _patch_lengths = [1] + _patch_lengths[:-1]
