How does this compare to https://github.com/humandx/slate-automerge ?
Maybe the two projects could face difficult questions together.

For example:
Since Slate does not use id's, the mentioned project duplicates entries on a conflict, instead of choosing a winner: Both clients go offline, client A indents an item while client B outdents the same item. That item will get duplicated.

I guess your project is approaching a cleaner path by replacing Slates data model with Automerge.
