35.x - Decide whether to support alternate install locations (not /opt/meza) or encourage symlinking #1302

Right now, in theory, it's possible to setup an alternate install location like /meza instead of /opt/meza. In practice it has issues.

Do we continue to support this? Or do we suggest people create symlinks, e.g. create partition at /data and symlink it to /opt/data-meza.

It's great to support many options, but it requires a lot of effort and is hard to test.
