What would your expected behavior be when you drag out a RAW file? Personally I am not sure, I can see both cases for it, dropping sends the raw file itself or the other scenario where it automatically creates a jpeg and drops that.
@zeebok i thought about it for some time and think the most reasonable approach would be to export a RAW file with the changes embedded into the metadata of the RAW file (I’m not familiar with RAW but I heard they use metadata to record changes to the image), and then allow the user to drag that file away. That way we can maintain the what you see is what you get nature of drag and drop.
Problem
Users cannot drag images away from the Photos window and drop them elsewhere.
