It would be great to limit the container's possible disk size.
This would prevent students from writing very large files to disk.

The Docker default limit is 120GB.
There is a recommended way to limit this:
https://docs.docker.com/reference/cli/docker/container/run/#storage-opt
But there are some caveats:

  • Limitation on storage backend (most widely used (and usually default) overlay2 is supported).
  • Only available with xfs mounted with pquota.

With these limitations, tests will be a bit tricky.
We may have to set up a special test for the CI for this.
