For ddsmoothmenu, longer items list can we add horizontal scroll bar

For longer menu list, ddsmoothmenu not works properly. Its shows extra whitespace around dropdown menu. Is there any way so we can add scrollbar or else to avoid this problem.

Hmm, its a internal site. and can't exposed to outside word. The problem is I have outer div whose height is fixed and CSS property "overflow-y is auto". And list items are larger, that's why while rendering items for first time it will shows some white-space arround the ul li box.

Can we specify the max-height and add scroll bar for list having upto 200-300 items?

I used a vertical ddsmooth menu in one of my website. But i have a problem..Initially when thee page loads, a blank space is generated below the footer. After i hover on one of the menu items, the blank space generated is automatically removed.Could you please help me.
