A reddit thread mentioned FastAPI. It might be a good alternative to flask-rest-api, which is giving me some problems (Eg: #168).

Actually FastAPI is a replacement for Flask, not for the rest API doc generation. It has some great parts though - I really like the idea of using type annotations to generate docs and validate data. However, I don't want to rewrite this project for it.

Perhaps I'll use it for a different project.
