I just installed a package provided by the Belgian government to make use of an eID reader. At first I installed it using Eddy but things did not work. So I reinstalled it manually and noticed the following message after installation completed (two last lines):
sudo dpkg -i eid-archive_2018.2_all.deb
[sudo] password for myself:
Selecting previously unselected package eid-archive.
(Reading database ... 347695 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack eid-archive_2018.2_all.deb ...
Unpacking eid-archive (2018.2) ...
Setting up eid-archive (2018.2) ...
Repository enabled, keys installed. Please run "apt-get update" followed by
"apt-get install eid-mw eid-viewer" to install the middleware and the viewer, respectively.
It would be nice if Eddy could show such a message to avoid confusion.
I got a similar situation installing DraftSight a while ago. There is a prompt in the middle of the installation process and installation fails using Eddy.
