module not importing right

I only have dpy-self installed with pip (apart from nextcord) and I get a module 'discord' has no attribute 'Client' when I try to launch it.

It's because of Nextcord, it installs its own discord folder.

To check this, I downloaded the source from pypi, extracted it, and saw that nextcord had both nextcord and discord folders.

Please try uninstalling nextcord and retry, let us know how it goes.

If nextcord is a required dependency, you can clone it and have it available in your cwd (downloading the source, grabbing only the nextcord folder and moving that to the same folder as your project)

You could use a python venv that is what I do (I have nextcord and discord.py-self installed) and it works perfectly. You just have to remember to activate the venv first.
