Hello there,
First of all, thank you for providing such a great open-source tool! DocuSeal is a fantastic solution that meets many needs for electronic signatures, and its self-hosted version is especially appreciated for organizations looking for privacy and control.
I’d like to suggest a possible improvement or seek guidance on an existing feature. Specifically, I’m wondering if it would be possible to export the certificate used for electronic signing, particularly in the self-hosted version of the application.
Why this feature could be valuable:
Interoperability: Many organizations using self-hosted solutions often rely on multiple systems for electronic signatures. An export feature would simplify transitions between platforms while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Portability: Allowing users to export and re-import certificates would enable them to maintain signature validity across platforms.
Adaptability: This feature would enhance DocuSeal’s flexibility and usefulness, particularly in complex or evolving IT environments.
How this could be approached:
I understand that implementing such features requires time and effort, and I appreciate all the work that has already gone into DocuSeal.
If this suggestion aligns with the project’s goals, it would be a fantastic addition to an already great tool.
Thank you so much for your consideration, and please don’t hesitate to let me know if further details or examples would be helpful!
Best regards,
