In IntelliJ/PyCharm 2023.1.2 it is very slow to scroll and not useable like copy-paste features.
Tested in 2022.3 and no problems.

Used MacBook Pro 2021 (M1), MacOS

I very strongly suspect this is the same issue as this one
FirstTimeInForever/intellij-pdf-viewer#51

and here's the fix for that case:

I can confirm this issue on Apple M1 Pro, 13.4 (22F66), IntelliJ IDEA 2023.1.1 Build #IU-231.8770.65
Issue started after upgrading to 2023' IntelliJ

OK. I can confirm this problem on my M2pro. Have to check if this is also a problem on windows.

@oscu0 maybe the same problem, but we need a different fix. The IntelliJ update did break this. So I guess we should report it to Jetbrains, shouldn't we?

Downgrading IntelliJ to 2023.1 (Build #IU-231.8109.175, built on March 28, 2023) fix the Problem. So there is some "Bugfix" from IntelliJ which break the performance. Hope this helps

hm. which IntelliJ Version are you running. On my M2pro, everything is back to normal after some updates. I don't remember which one it was which changed the behaviour back to normal, but please give it a try to update. If ypu still experience problems, please name your IntelliJ version.

I'm on IDEA, 2023.2.4, M1 PRO Sonama 14.0, with plugin 0.2.4. All on last version I think
I experiment these issues from the first 2023.x versions. It look likes it is a little bit smoother in last updates. But it is still quite unusable : I use external editor tool as a workaround..

I experiment slow down and lags when I'm navigating in the diagram GridView, i.e. scrolling left-right or scrolling top-bottom

Updated IntelliJ and Plugins.
IntelliJ Version: IntelliJ IDEA 2023.3.2 (Ultimate Edition) - Build #IU-233.13135.103, built on December 20, 2023
Macbook Pro 2021: Apple M1 Max
Plugin Version: 0.2.4

Still the Problem exists. Like in the Video above moving with touchpad is very laggy.

Are you talking about lags when scrolling? On Air M1, it works completely fine, if I use middle mouse button to scroll, instead of trackpad.
