Unable to initialize app settings

Got this on Epichrome 2.3.1 on macOS Catalina. First launch of the app, the above pops up.

The app seems to work fine - is it safe to keep using it? What does the error indicate?

FYI: just created a new app on Epichrome 2.3.1 on macOS Catalina and din't get this popup...

Thanks for the reports, @ldub & @talleux. This shouldn't be too concerning. The worst that will happen is that the initial browser settings for your app won't be ideal, but you can change them yourself if they're not to your liking.

I would, however, like to figure out why it happened. Could you send me a zip of the Logs directory for this app? (Message me on Patreon if you don't want to post here.) Also, has this happened with every app you've created in 2.3.1, or just this one time? Thanks!
