Reconnecting via click is impossible

1. I have a disconnected session.
2. I click on the disconnected session at the bottom so that I can reconnect.
3. This pops up what looks like a connected python session at the top.
4. When I move the mouse to click on this python session, the widget disappears so I can't do anything.

It seems like it should not be showing this python connection at the top since I'm not connected, and the widget should stick around if it is something I should be able to click on.
