current design is very generic, tho it was meant for many games

if we're going for a more defined identity around "Bureau of Profound Oddities" (BPO?)
maybe a more specific design ID related to that?

so you think the old typewriter font exemplifies the vibe?
that reminds me a little if the game was around a journalist or investigator. it's a bit film noir retro i think.

the office scene is good, it looks like a point and click adventure too a bit.

there are various investigation games too

one feedback i had from people is that they wouldn't play unless they saw a video of the game. so might need to make that top area a video somehow, or at least include a gameplay video

also would like to feature some objects, that suggest interaction, not just characters

we can use those on the cut away side photos you have i guess

We can record a few demo playthrough videos where the typing flows through parts of the game... a few attempts and then a near success at a puzzle as not to give anything away. 1) look desk, get note, look room, look wall 2) look sink, use sink, look bed, look wardrobe. 3) chief murphy's office cutaway photos (with text descriptions below) can include ones such as: 1) safe combo at 0000 2) faucet handle 3) Dr. Abbot note 4) Vit Man picture
