How We Select Contributors?

The contributors will be more likely selected if they:

  1. Contribute to Databend or other related projects before.
  2. Familiar with the techniques required by the idea their selected.
  3. Show the previous code related to the idea on personal website or GitHub.
  4. Provide a personal website and descriptions for previous work/projects.
  5. Provide demo sites for the previous projects if possible.
  6. Provide a resume/CV.

What is Google Summer Of Code?

Google Summer of Code is a global, online program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development. GSoC Contributors work with an open source organization on a 12+ week programming project under the guidance of mentors. Learn More: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/

What is Open Source Promotion Plan?

Open Source Promotion Plan is a summer program organized by Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences and long-term supported by Open Source Software Supply Chain Promotion Plan. It aims to encourage college students to actively participate in the development and maintenance of open source software and promote the vigorous development of excellent open source software community.
