"today" forecast not updating - "expired" --> fixed by disable/enable integration

kneomaha675_forecast_summary_0d --> did not update and showed expired. 1n, 2d, and all other forecast items updated properly. This persisted through several days and several restarts of HA.

Today as I was gathering information to submit this problem, I tried a disable/re-enable of the integration and now the 0d/Today forecast is updating properly again.

Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same issue, and so the maintainer is aware that there might be a gremlin:

Wunderground API caveat:
The daypart object as well as the temperatureMax field OUTSIDE of the daypart object will appear as null in the API after 3:00pm Local Apparent Time.
The affected sensors will return as "Today Expired" with a value of "Unknown" when this condition is met.

Can confirm I had the same issue with the forecast sensors.
Had persisted for days, disabling and reenabling the integration got them working again.

Very odd.

I have an automation that runs at 3am daily to reload selected weather entities, which seems to take care of the problem. <SENSOR_ID> is your own value.

I have had the same issue intermittently. Reloading the integration also works.

Getting the same issue in this version.
Looks like the integration stops updating.
Sensors update after the integration is reloaded.

well i have no idea then...
cannot duplicate it in HASS OS on raspberry pi or development environment.

Odd then.

It was actually working fine again until that last update.

Now the day forecast expires and it just seems to stop updating

try reloading integration and see if that helps.
maybe an artifact on the sensor in the hass config???
