The version of Plex Recently Added 0.3.9 that you see builtin to HACS is a very old outdated forked version of the original/official Plex Recently Added repo. Do NOT install this version,. its completely broken. Instead, for the time being follow the below instructions to manually add the official repo(s) back to HACS; including the official/original Upcoming Media Card so you can see them and install them in HACS. The below instructions is a temporarily solution until the HACS moderators put all the original repos back to HACS soon.

Manually Add a Home Assistant Integrations (including the latest official Upcoming Media Card)

Open HACS → Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Select Custom repositories.
Add the Repository → Paste:
https://github.com/custom-components/sensor.plex_recently_added.git

You will need to do this for the official/original upcoming media card repo too:
Open HACS → Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Select Custom repositories.
Add the Repository → Paste:
https://github.com/custom-cards/upcoming-media-card.git

If you have Sonarr, also, do the same:
Open HACS → Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Select Custom repositories.
Add the Repository → Paste:
https://github.com/custom-components/sensor.sonarr_upcoming_media.git

If you have Radarr, also, do the same:
Open HACS → Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Select Custom repositories.
Add the Repository → Paste:
https://github.com/custom-components/sensor.radarr_upcoming_media.git

After you manually add these custom repos to HACS, your HACS will be able to search for all the original/official repos you just manually added when you search for them. You should see newer versions which then you can download and install.

Thanks for the well explained answer, I could add Plex as custom but not upcoming-card due to "no manifest.json found"...?

I also got this warning showing and don't only gets away when I remove the repository I just added...

You have to rermove the old outdated forked version of Plex Recently Added and Upcoming Media Card from your HACS first. if you haven't done so already:

Image

Then you can proceed with making sure you add the original custom repo https://github.com/custom-cards/upcoming-media-card.git and https://github.com/custom-components/sensor.plex_recently_added.git the way I showed you by clicking on the 3 dots at the top right hand section of HACS and download them.

If you see a benign message saying something about this original repos you just added being archived previously, those messagea can be ignored. That will eventually go away once all the original repos are added back to HACS officially in the near future. You will still be able to use them as normal despite the benign warnings.

I have removed Upcoming-media-card so it's not installed anymore, but I still get this error... And I can't remove it from HACS except by uninstalling it.

It looks like you are mixing things up. Plex Recently Added Integration is not the same thing as Upcoming Media Card. Your last screenshot shows you tried to add the upcoming media card repo for Plex recently Added, which is completely wrong!

Please restore from backup before you tried to add Plex Recently Added integration and Upcoming Media Card incorrectly and reboot.

After reboot, remove your old Upcoming Media Card front end card from HACS as well Plex Recently Added Integration.

Finally, Make sure you have added the 2 new custom repos I provided:
https://github.com/custom-cards/upcoming-media-card.git and https://github.com/custom-components/sensor.plex_recently_added.git the way I showed you by clicking on the 3 dots at the top right hand section of HACS. This will make the new Plex Recently Added integration as well as the new Upcoming Media Card front end card searchable in HACS and downloadable.

NOTE: Please remember that Plex Recently Added is an integration. Whilst Upcoming Media Card is a Front End card. Both can be searched for and downloaded in HACS one at a time, separately.
