As of node version 0.8 it looks like node-waf is replaced by node-gyp - I know this isn't a huge deal, but it was pretty hard to track down any information on node-waf, which makes getting this up and running significantly more difficult (takes the "fun" part out of it), and being more of a "user", I don't know a whole lot about node-gyp either so the installation part of the docs leaves me with my jaw on the ground.

Also, is there any chance you might be able to make the documentation about installing on non-linux systems (for me, OSX Snow Leopard) a little more verbose? I'm sort of unsure whether I should download the source or runtime from libsdl.org(http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php), because I'm not sure if your build process requires the source for any sort of modification or something, or if the runtime is okay.

Super excited to see the possibilities this library unleashes

Is this project dead? The last commit was a year ago, and it's using outdated technologies (waf) that no longer work with Node.

Will pull requests be accepted to update this for Node 0.10 and node-gyp?

@gluxon No longer dead! The update is still not really super ready for mass consumption, but it's no longer dead. I have collaborator rights on this now, so I can accept pull requests and will be steadily working on it when I have time inbetween my job and being married :)

Also in regards to documentation: there definitely needs to be a lot of work done on it. I started rewriting it, but it's kind of awkward in its current state as I just threw it together in like 5 minutes. If you want to put together any pull requests for it, I'll gladly take a look at them.
