My current activity on twin consists in slowly cleaning up and modernizing the (ancient) C server code, which is now compiled as C++, and also adding some C++ classes to simplify it.

There are no official plans to add native wayland support - I know extremely little about it - but I'd happily review and merge any contribution adding a hw_wayland driver :)
