When testing the solenoid valve, we want to be able to turn it on or off on command. We discussed last time that this would most likely best done with a relay.
Look into if doing this with a relay is the best option. Another option we have is something called a contactor, which is a relay used for higher voltage applications.
Create a schematic of the design (can handwrite, draw, do it digitally I don't really care), just so we can clearly see all the connections
After schematic, it should be clear what components we need. In a document, add links to what we need to buy to test the valve.
