Relevant environment info

- Continue version: 0.9.255
- IDE version: Both

Description

new file detection. this was always an issue but on 0.070 you could get passed this by doing @files, hitting enter, and then all the files new and old would be displayed in the list as long as you didnt search for anything. this doesn't work on the latest version anymore, so there is no way to give continue the context of newly created files. Doing a re-index does NOT fix this, like ive seen previously suggested. the only fix is closing the IDE and reopening it, which is a pain in the neck.

Also no files are initially shown using @files

Image

To reproduce

  1. Create a new file
  2. Try to use it with @files, confirm it isn't available
  3. Restart your IDE
  4. Confirm it is now available
