Ability for Proxmox LXC "update" command en mass?

I like how when you type update in a LXC container you reach a menu that asks you whether or not you want to run the update function, however with a big estates it would be good to be able to run this via a controller method such as MeshCentral where it automatically accepts the popup and runs the update to multiple LXCs.

It is very time consuming to run the command one by one. Running Apt-update/upgrade only does the OS updates and doesn't interact with the built in LXC application image update system.

Is there anyway i could do this myself then ? I'm not confident in writing scripts but i see the thread mentioned this is "possible" but not advised, what would i need to run or code to do this on my own risk?

You could fork the repo and build the function yourself. With the official scripts its not possible and will most likly never be

Wait, you want to automatically update sensitive data via cronjob without consent, but don't know how the scripts work? Even if we give the possibility, I know exactly who will be the first to create issues.

If you want to do that, build a script that you address with a cronjob based on the install or update script from us.
