What is the problem? Tested in Test Envrionment in Firefox and Google Chrome
When a user creates a Discussion topic, the discussion question is indicated as compulsory, and the continue button is greyed out and disabled (screenshot1). However, even without adding a Discussion question, the Preview section has a working Save and publish button (screenshot2) which allows the user to post the topic without a discussion question (screenshot3). The published topic then says Discussion since there is no question (screenshot3).
Why is this a problem?
Confusing to the user as discussion question is indicated as compulsory
Possible solution. @BeccaMelhuish I think that the question is supposed to be compulsory so the user should not be able to publish the topic without a question?
If it's not compulsory then I think the red asterix should be removed and the button should no longer be greyed out and disabled.
