Downloading model looks not right

Version: 1.2.0
System: Windows 11 23H2 (22635.4800)

Although I live in Chinese mainland, but I'm sure that I have like 500Mbit/s' connection to model's server.
The download prorgess is weird, it will go on a few seconds, then stop for a few seconds then continue go on.
and when I open the taskmgr, I see this:

so is the model it self a bunch of small files, or there is sth wrong with the download?

Model consists of several files, a few small config files and usually one or two larger data files. See example here https://huggingface.co/Systran/faster-whisper-large-v3/tree/main

For downloads we are using the huggongface_hub library https://github.com/huggingface/huggingface_hub
It has some internal optimizations that may result in downloads waiting, but usually once it gets to the large file download is pretty consistent.

I would guess that this is something on the network level. You can try downloading some models manually with the huggingface_hub it has some logs during the download process that may help.
