JSON style file examples

I want to modify the default style a little. Is there a json style file I can use as a starting point? I started defining my own style but I noticed the starting point is very basic, for example the bullet points disappeared. Are all the style options documented somewhere? The readme shows some, but I think it is missing some details like how to show the bullets. The gallery folder contains some nice examples but they are all png files. Are there associated json files somewhere?
