Esri is interested in working with the HHypermap team perhaps...
Here is an email from Andrew Turner about having Esri Open data harvested by HHypermap:
I am including a few colleagues from my team: Courtney is our Open Data Product Engineer and Alex + Jake are engineering the API.
We are currently using JSON-API as a hypermedia API. You can see the initial self-documenting endpoints here: https://opendata.arcgis.com/api/v2/
Jake and Alex can provide any additional documentation or questions. They are actively working on more details of available filters, actions, and an API explorer that you could start with.
We also support a simple DCAT – while it is “easy” because a single file I the specs it’s lack of pagination or filtering sub-optimal: https://opendata.arcgis.com/data.json
And we are considering support for OGC CSW in the near future.
If you can look over those (particularly the v2 JSON-API) and any feedback would be very helpful. At the very least having ArcGIS Open Data “authoritative” (meaning Gov’t that intentionally is promoting sharing) in Hhypermap is great. If we can also share “service quality and uptime” metrics and even algorithms that would be fascinating.
