First, my program did not generate a png file in the maps folder.
Secondly, my pcd point cloud file could not be opened normally, and there was no prefix that the pcd file should have.

So the maps folder is empty for me, too, and that's why I created this issue.

Secondly, What Carla version you're using? Mine is 0.9.14, and I'm able to generate PCD files; it could be an issue with the Carla version; maybe your Carla version generates files in that format only.

My carla version is also 0.9.14, using the quick installation version.
The pcd point cloud file can be generated normally. The first picture below is the pcd file generated by the program opened through Notepad, and the second picture is the pcd file in the nuscenes dataset. As you can see, there is no prefix description in the first picture.
