OK, this error seems to actually be from the 'old' MNET plugin. After removal, Moodle seems to be working again. However, I sincerely hope we have not lost all our data of old MNET assignment submissions now... related to this also important issue: #73

Unfortunately there has never been a real conversion from MNET to LTI every from within Mahara. We made the (forced) change in the summer of 2023 when Moodle 4/PHP 8 came into play.

It slowly seems that all Mahara work submitted prior to the summer of 2023 is lost.
