Should we use breadcrumbs?

We don't use deeply nested navigation but I'm wondering whether we should consider using breadcrumbs. They could be helpful for the "extras" menu, and maybe clarify navigational differences between instructor and learner views.

I was thinking about using breadcrumbs as well to help out with the extras and I think there are a couple of challenges we need to address:

1. Finding a place on the new template to incorporate it
2. Making sure it's accessible
3. How to properly address the differences between learner and instructor views (e.g. are they at the top like home/instructor/thing) and avoiding redundancy/confusion between the breadcrumb and the button
