User Story (Required on creation)

As a community edition user, I want to get informed about the end-of-life of my product.

Functional Requirements (Required before implementation)

Technical Requirements (Required before implementation)

  • Show a top banner in the community edition.

I think it would be nice, if there were an option to deactivate this banner.

I know that camunda 7 is approaching EOL, but currently changing to camunda 8 is not feasible for me because of time constraints.

It would be great to have an option to not be constantly reminded by this banner. It can be quite distracting.

Hello @werererer,

We discussed this topic and do not plan to remove the banner, as we believe it is important to know that the software used is no longer maintained. If you still want to remove it, a solution is discussed here on how to do so here.

Regards Tobias

Hi @toco-cam,

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. Utilizing CSS indeed makes a lot of sense for that purposes.

I also appreciate you linking to that issue—very helpful!

Sincerely,
Jakob
