I have made yesterday a test uefi install on real hardware.
The install finishes, but the fstab on the installed system has wrong order of entries.

The /boot/efi entry gets written before the /boot entry and thus efi boot fails.

Marcus, come again? Please don't mix Thus with Calamares. This repo hold only our custom modules. The bootloader module is upstream which should be reported also there. So what do you expect from the fstab module to do exactly? Did you checked KaOS yet, as they are using some custom modules, especially for bootldr.

  • we have first to check if this is just a Manjaro issue
  • we have to check if other projects have the same issue
  • we have to talk to each other or just look at their sourcecode to check what might be different
  • we have to check if there is already an open bug report

Ok, keep me updated on the matter. If still an issue, please fill out a ticket on our bugtracker and close this one, as it might be a general problem. Thx.
