Camera Lag

I have been testing this on Android and iOS and we are experimenting a lot of delay from the camera, it doesn't look fluid... I am using text recognition, is there any way to optimize this?

I am tryin an iOS app called Search Cam and it does the same but works really fluid!!

Hope you can help me to improve the user experience.
