Adding type annotations to boto3

Adding type annotations to boto3 could prove very useful for developer experience when using it in conjunction with tools such as type checkers, IDEs, linters, etc.

Thanks for sharing that feedback - this is tracked in a feature request but marked as "needs-major-version" : #1055. In the meantime there are third-party libraries for this you could consider trying.
