I use this concept myself in hobby projects, manually :)

Also consider the following:

using static System.Math;
using System.Linq;
using Project = System.Whatever.Project;
using System;
using MyNamespace.Models;

namespace MyNamespace
{
...
}

I would like it to be refactored as:

using System;
using System.Linq;

using static System.Math;

using Project = System.Whatever.Project;

namespace MyNamespace
{
    using Models;
...
}
