Firefox - Middle click always opens new tab in forground instead of following browser preference. #7652

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to feed
  2. Middle click on any post to open post in a new tab
  3. Browser settings are set to open new tabs in the background via unchecking checkbox for "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" in about:settings.

Expected result: New tab opens in background, leaving me on the feed tab. Behavior explained here.

Actual result: New tab opens and is brought to the foreground

Apparently middle-clicking directly on the tiny timestamp opens the post in a background tab properly.
