The layouts are in Adobe Illustrator format, which isn't usable with Github. It may be possible to set up a CI task to automatically generate .svg files from the .ai files using e.g. http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanwen/public/software/ai2svg.py

Which files does this refer to? The board layouts are done with Altium, not Illustrator...

The keyboard layouts look like they're done in Illustrator: https://github.com/betrusted-io/betrusted-hardware/tree/main/kbd-v3/layouts

For background: This came about because I wanted to show what they keyboard layouts look like, and I had to download the file and screenshot it, rather than directly linking to an image.

Ah yes. When I read the issue it say "the layouts" and I thought it was referring to the circuit board layouts, which is most of what this repo is dedicated to.
