The current master branch has a number of unreleased changes, in particular one that bring Python 3.7 support. This is one of the issues currently preventing Celery from supporting properly Python 3.7, as exposed in this build.

Would it be possible to get the current master branch released or is there any outstanding problem that needs to be resolved first? If not, it sounds like a low hanging fruit.

If there is anything blocking, maybe this fairly safe commit could be added to a 2.7.x branch and a 2.7.1 release could be done?

If anything can be done by non-maintainers to help, let us know here. Thanks!

hi @browniebroke - not sure if these issues are being watched - might be a good idea to follow up with an email to [email protected] ( http://lists.basho.com/mailman/listinfo/riak-users_lists.basho.com )

Hi, Celery maintainer here.
Any updates on this?

I've sent an email to the list, as suggested above but got no response...
