The average WordPress installation has many plugins installed, all cluttering the admin interface.

It'd be nice to have the option to feature "WP Mail SMTP" not as a main admin menu item but as a submenu under the Settings menu item. I haven't touched WP Mail SMTP since its installation, so having it under Settings would be justified.
