Hentoid Version:
1.20.10 (774)

Device/Android Version:
LG V50 / Android 12

Issue details / Repro steps:
I recently deleted hentoid and reinstalled because it would keep crashing thinking it might remedy it, while it did for that, the problem now lies in not being able to create a Primary Folder in both my SD card (External Storage) and Internal Storage.

I have tried multiple versions up until 1.20.8 and it still cannot create a primary folder. I've also kept mounting and dismounting my SD card in hopes of hentoid recognizing my old Hentoid folders but it also didn't work.

I also tried Internal storage, it also didn't work and throws out the same error: "Invalid folder selected - please choose another one", I've also changed to multiple different folders- both new and old, no luck.

I did delete .nomedia and it would say "Please Wait" & take a while but in the end it will throw out an error: "cannot create primary folder - please try again"

I've also restarted my phone while the SD card has been dismounted, it will attempt to recreate it after it remounts but will throw out the same error: "cannot create primary folder".

My guess is Hentoid is only being given media permissions by android 12? Otherwise I'm out of ideas

That part of Hentoid should work fine on any phone, be it on internal memory or an external volume. Some people even successfuly managed to run in on an USB OTG 😂

Did you check app permissions by any chance? What you describe looks like the app has somehow lost credentials to use storage.

Yeah, which is why it's giving me a headache 😂

I've checked my permissions both in my settings and apps ops via shizuku, screenshots below:

The app has been given proper permissions, at least from what I can see. I've also revoked and given it's permissions back to see if it works, no luck there too.
