Suggestions For Hitomi.la

I think we all have same problem since Hitomi.la is becomes the main problem on this apps

Most of the time is downloading problem on Hitomi with book that above 100++ pages. Somehow it always has problem either the page is missing or just an error. Even i tried download from scratch it still doesn't working.

So i have 2 suggestions

1. Move to errors Label
   If the apps can't be able download the book even after u press download from scratch and the download still not moving. My suggestion is added "Move to errors Label".

I mean even the book hasn't finish yet u still be able to read it. In my case i always missing 5-15 pages and i think it's fine.

2. Force Book to finish
   In this case instead moving to error labels just force the book to finish and put it on library but with missing title for example "My Mom Is My Wife #Missing Files"

That's my suggestion so far

Isn't that a little preposterous to claim you're speaking for all other users? You don't need to do that to have your issue read and analyzed.

Just keep in mind https://github.com/avluis/Hentoid/wiki/FAQ#q--can-you-make-a-feature-to-force-any-incomplete-book-from-the-errors-tab-into-the-library : that's a strong design choice that I won't change. => Suggestion 2 won't do

I don't really understand what "Move to errors Label" means in suggestion 1. Could you elaborate please?

For the record, right now :

• Any book with at least 1 eror will be transferred to the "Errors" tab of the queue screen
• Any book is readable, even those that are being downloaded or those that are in the errors tab

Yeah but in some cases if some books during download didn't move into the "Errors" tab so it will stuck in "Download" query. Even tho it has error like previous image i sent it stills on "Download" Query. Some of the books will moves into "Error" query but some of it isn't. This happens to me and my friends. So if there's an error happening again i will just ask them to press "Toggle Freeze" so it won't disturb the "Download" Query.

It happens only on Hitomi btw.

But in my case : Download > Book has error > it doesn't moves into Error tabs automatically > Tried to redownload from the scratch (sometimes it works sometimes it's not) > Still stuck and error > Stuck in download tabs

I must've downloaded like 1000 pages without triggering that issue. It sounds like that one's gonna take luck to fix.
