Hi Team,

We are using MyGroovy v1.18.1 in our Jira v7.1.3 Data Center instance and now planning to upgrade it to the latest version Jira v8.5.0 but there it is showing MyGroovy v1.19.2 is available only for Jira Server 8.0.0 - 8.5.1(not for Data Center).
So, we want to know when you are planning to release the MyGroovy version compatible with Jira v8.5.0 Data Center.

Thanks
Prince

Hello,
It's technically compatible with Jira Data Center. In fact, we're using it in our own Data Center instance.
Making it officially compatible would require substantial time investment from us, while the benefits are unclear, because app is free to use.

This doesn't mean that we won't do this ever, but there's no immediate plans for this.

Hi. Are there any news about making MyGroovy fully compatibile for Data Center?

Hi,
This is not a priority right now.
Technically it was designed to work in Data Center instances from the beginning.
We are also using it in fairly large Data Center instance.

Just curious - what's involved here "Making it officially compatible" besides just flagging it? Are you required as an marketplace author to go through a certification effort of some sort?

Hello. Yes, apps must go through special approval process to be marked as data center compatible in Atlassian marketplace
