It doesn't seem very worthwhile to have 8 log lines dedicated to

Chowlett played Copper.
(total: $1).
Chowlett played Copper.
(total: $2).
Chowlett played Copper.
(total: $3).
Chowlett played Copper.
(total: $4).

It feels like those ought to be collapsible to something like

Chowlett played Copper, Copper, Copper, Copper.
(total: $4).

This might well be at the log-display level rather than the journal level.
