I've started looking at this myself this week. Did we want to just replace functions within our .js files with equivalents or attempt to convert into a complete typescript format instead?

Proof of Concept Complete for Bibliography Table. Further work redefining util filters would be necessary for all features to work.
Full implementation pending transition to full typescript, given converting every table individually would be a large amount of work anyways.
