Found missing error check at the pkg/collector/collect.pkg

commands, err := GetNodesCommands(nodeCommands, cm, nodeType)  // no error handling
if len(commands) == 0 {
	return fmt.Errorf("spec not found")
}

In my case all yaml errors have been suppressed
