Make output was "cleaned up" and V=0 is required to reinstall the old behaviour.
However V=0 is understood as the contrary to V=1, and it is not.
This is very counterintuitive and unclear and unnecessary.

This was not discussed on the nuttx mailing list as required to do for all apache projects

I request that this behaviour is restored, then discussed, and a decision to be made.

This output is important to indicate the correct behaviour of the build process, which is non trivial

The silent output, if desired, could be enabled by a config directive in the Build section.
