Various gamebreaking behavior issues on the crow #4884
Comments
For me the crow vanished after I died to falling off the tower the second time. I went into creative to fly back (I didn't realize the elevator switches actually worked) and then the crow vanished and never came back. It didn't count as defeated or anything. Not sure if I should open a separate issue or if it is actually related to OP's issue. |
Is this new in rc.8 or was it like that before? |
I only got there on rc8, so I'm not sure. |
Just created a brand new Wilderness Survival in rc.5, with Creative mode, in SP and no mods. Went to the Devastation and after the crow completed the following attack sequence, it flew off to the North and proceeded to fly in place: R-S-R-S-R-S-D-S |
Somewhat related, but in a modded MP server, a similar behaviour was noticed. The crow would either circle indefinitely, while still being occasionally hit by arrows or fly off either to the South or West and fly in place at the ground level. |
I think it's always been broken like this. I've heard people talking about this issue since it was first implemented. |

Description
The crow had weird behaviors the whole time we were near the new zone (two players in a LAN game, me being the host). It would sometimes start circling the tower from afar and never get close again, start flying away at high speeds and disappear, or just stop and do nothing. We tried teleporting it to us and flying in creative mode in order to be able to finish the fight, because punching it sometimes would fix its behavior.
