Would be nice to put the app into an idle state like the Smartphone e.g. from 00:00 till 06.00 MEZ.

The app does almost nothing by itself: it is redrawn by calls of a Launcher app.
So I think that this is a Launcher that could have such a feature. E.g. it could stop refreshing ALL its widgets including our widget... Maybe it does this already.
?!
