Widget still shows hidden items

In my case I selected a specific holiday item and select hide event. The event is no longer displayed in Google Calendar, but the todo Agenda widget still shows the hidden item.

Our widget doesn't know what "Hidden event" means. Could you clarify, what Calendar app are you using and maybe even post a screenshot, showing, how you hide an event.

I tried to search for "hide" and "hidden" in Android Calendar contract docs ( https://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/CalendarContract ) and didn't find anything like that yet.

Sorry for not being clear enough. I was referring to the Google Calendar Public Holidays calendar. If you select one of those events, you will find a menu option "Hide this holiday". This will remove the holiday from your calendar, but it remains visible in the widget.

@ejvanloon Thanks for clarification. So far looks like the Calendar app doesn't hide the event from Android Calendar Provider, so our widget is unaware of this action.
Maybe this is not supposed to be done i.e. the Calendar hides an event only for itself :-)
...or we should search for any sign of this action to reflect this in the widget.
