Can't "Enable auto wallpaper" - This setting is completely greyed out

I have tried both the latest build and the pre-release alpha build.

I am unable to apply auto wallpaper from the settings.

I click on "enable auto wallpaper" toggle and then enable same sources for lock and home screen but all the settings below them are greyed out. When I go back, "enable auto wallpaper" toggle is still off.

I am using custom rom - YAAP Vanilla (non-gapps) build - Android 14.

Am I doing something very basic wrong or is it a bug? @ammargitham

i have hyperos on poco and having the same issue. Auto wallpaper is grayed.

Try this : settings > download location, to enable the local wallpaper option

For favorite, like some pictures with the heart ❤️ button
and for saved searches, on the main screen press filter and save a name (tag) and preset. You should be able to use the auto wallpaper
